They do the work of “rising up” through the changes necessary to reach their personal goals. As a professional counselor I value the healing power of the client/counselor therapeutic relationship. It really is the linchpin for the achievement or breakdown in therapy. Healing is invited into our work through respect and compassion without judgment. The atmosphere of the counseling office is intentionally created to provide a comfortable, safe place to talk about the sensitive matters of your life. I am known to be calm, steady and encouraging as my client and I navigate the journey of changing unhealthy beliefs and actions that steal enjoyment in life. My professional licenses allow me to see provide Online (Telehealth) services to clients who are located in either Kansas or Missouri. My physical office is easily accessible to persons in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area. In addition to counseling services, I am available to speak on topics related mental health, professional burnout, stress management, self-care and other subjects tailored to your needs. Extensive management and leadership roles in the operation of hospital medical staff and credentialing services expand my ability to incorporate these experiences into consultations*.
